Project overview
The thinking behind the project
An original coastal hotel concept that pairs architectural imagery and considered typography with room discovery, date and guest selection, and a clear stay summary.
Beautiful photography alone does not explain which room suits a stay. Serein House introduces the atmosphere, then makes the choice concrete through room characteristics, dates and guest count. An editable stay summary brings those decisions together so the practical details remain connected to the initial sense of place.

Strategy and design
Turning the brief into design decisions.
Navy ink, pale blue and restrained serif typography create a distinct identity. Large photographs and asymmetrical space establish the atmosphere; a clear information hierarchy supports dates, capacity and pricing.
What the project set out to address
- Make the hotel's atmosphere and room differences tangible
- Show how dates, capacity and pricing connect
- Carry the full journey from discovery to review onto mobile
How we approached it
- Study editorial spacing and photography on Dribbble, then create an independent brand system
- Connect every room image to its features and capacity
- Validate dates, stay length and occupancy in a local booking demo
From a sense of place to a considered stay
Explore each room, choose dates and guests, then review a consistent nightly-rate breakdown. Capacity and stay-length validation support an editable local stay summary.

What we created for this concept
After studying image-led hospitality websites, we created a new fictional hotel identity, imagery, copy and code for Serein House. The experience connects the atmosphere of each room to the practical choices behind a stay. This is an independent concept, not an operating hotel or client engagement.
- Original hotel identity and copy
- Eight illustrative architectural images
- Responsive Korean and English website
- Three rooms and dedicated detail pages
- Date selection and consistent pricing
- Editable stay summary
- Design reference attribution
An independent concept, not a client engagement or a performance claim. Products, prices and data are illustrative. A production project requires real operating information and system integrations.
Design reference & original work
We studied how photography and editorial spacing convey a place. Serein House's identity, palette, copy and code were created independently, with eight illustrative architectural images. No images or design files from the reference are used.
